Meet Cody — The Heart Behind the Designs
Welcome to my corner of the design world! I’m Cody, a qualified interior designer with a passion for transforming
homes into spaces that don’t just look beautiful, but feel beautiful too.
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me enjoying the simple things that bring me joy: spending time with
friends and family, reading a good book, doing puzzles, going for nice food and walks, cooking something delicious,
like a roast dinner, or settling down with a glass of wine. My personal life, my work, and my home all blend together
and that’s exactly how I like it.
My design journey has been shaped by the homes I’ve lived in, the people I’ve helped, and the life experiences that
pushed me toward what I truly love. I currently live in an Edwardian house, full of character and period charm, but before this
I lived in a modern property, clean lines, contemporary finishes, and minimalism at its core. Because of this, I’ve had the joy of
designing on both ends of the style spectrum. From sleek modern interiors to ornate Georgian spaces, I’ve helped family,
friends, and clients bring their homes to life no matter the era or aesthetic.
My path into interior design wasn’t straightforward. Before moving into my first property, I worked as an estate agent,
which gave me a great understanding of how people connect with a home. I was always drawn to interiors, but it wasn’t until I had
my first child and went on maternity leave that I finally had the space to think about what I truly wanted to do. That pause in my
career allowed me to recognise where my passion had always been—creating spaces that improve people’s lives.
Encouraged by friends and family who had long insisted I had a natural eye for design, I decided to take the leap.
I completed my studies with the National Design Agency and began building the career I had unknowingly been preparing for all along.
One aspect of interior design that fascinates me most is the psychology behind it. Colour isn’t just colour,
it’s emotion, energy, and atmosphere. Layout isn’t just about practicality—it’s about how a space makes you feel. I deeply
believe that your home has a powerful effect on your mental health, and crafting an interior that supports happiness and
well-being is at the core of my design philosophy.
For me, the most rewarding part of this journey is seeing the transformation not just in the room, but in the person.
When a client walks into their newly designed space and truly feels at home—that’s the moment I work for. My goal is simple:
I want people to be genuinely happy with the spaces I create for them.
Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to help you fall in love with your home.
