Please take care to be sure you complete your email address correctly as this is where I will make all my contact. Once I have received your booking, you will receive a welcome email and a link to your questionnaire form within 12 hours. Please complete this form within one month. Once I have received your completed form I will get to work on your project.

How long will it take to complete the questionnaire?
It depends what service you have chosen and how much detail you decide to share. It usually takes around one hour. Remember the more detail you add, the better.
When do I need to complete the online questionnaire?
I ask that the questionnaire is completed within one month so that I can begin working on your design.
What if I don’t know the answer to a question?
That’s absolutely fine. Simply explain that you’re unsure, and I will follow up with you later for clarification if i need to.

Colour Scheme Services:
The report is very detailed. It includes colour samples, reference images, and paint or wallpaper suggestions. It may also feature furniture images to help you visualise the overall look and feel of the scheme. Within the report, I will explain why each colour has been chosen, how it works in your space, how it may make you feel, and how lighting influences the design.
Does this include structural advice or floor plans?
Unless otherwise stating on the service description then no, this is a decorative service focusing on colour, mood, and finishing touches. If you require spatial planning or furniture layouts, please contact me.
What if I don’t like a colour scheme design?
If you are unhappy with the design, please email me with 1 week of receiving your report with detailed feedback explaining what you don’t like about it.
What paint brands do you use or recommend for colour schemes?
This depends on your preferences and budget. Some of the brands I use include Dulux and Farrow & Ball.
Can you work with the furniture I already have?
Absolutely! All of the services I offer allow you to work with furniture you already have.
Do you offer advice on finishes (e.g., Matte vs. Eggshell)?
Yes, if choosing a colour scheme service, your Detailed Design Report will specify the recommended finish for each surface (walls, woodwork, ceilings) to ensure the light interacts with the colour perfectly.
Can you match a specific style (e.g. modern, neutral, bold)?
Yes — your questionnaire helps me understand your style preferences so the scheme feels personal and aligned with your taste.
Do you offer follow-up support?
I offer follow up support on some of my services but not all of them. This is detailed within the service description.
What happens after I receive the design?
You can implement it at your own pace using the report. If you need further help, you can add on additional services.

Yes. If you purchase the service and later decide you no longer need it, you can cancel within 24 hours and receive a full refund. If you cancel after 24 hours but before submitting your questionnaire, you will receive a 50% refund. Once the questionnaire is submitted and work has commenced on your bespoke design, refunds are no longer available.

How does the process work?
Once you book, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing a link to your questionnaire within 24 hours.
You’ll complete the questionnaire, upload photographs of your room, and share any inspiration images you love. Using this information, I’ll create two personalised colour directions and deliver your completed design package within 7 working days.
How many rooms does the service cover?
One room.
For open-plan spaces, I create one cohesive colour scheme that ties the entire area together. If you’d like separate colour schemes for different zones, please get in touch before booking so I can advise on the best option.
When will I receive my questionnaire?
You will receive your questionnaire within 24 hours of booking.
If you haven’t received it after 24 hours, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting me.

Choosing colours can be difficult, especially when several options appeal to you.
Providing two professionally designed colour directions allows you to compare different approaches and feel confident that you’re choosing the scheme that best suits your home and lifestyle.
Both designs are created specifically for you and are based on the information you provide.
Which colour scheme should I choose?
Within your report, I’ll explain the thinking behind each option and provide professional guidance on which scheme I believe works best in your space.
Ultimately, the final choice is yours.
Can you work with furniture I already own?
Absolutely.
The questionnaire allows you to upload photographs of furniture, flooring, artwork, and accessories you wish to keep. I will take these into consideration when creating your colour schemes.
Do you recommend paint brands?
Yes.
Recommendations are tailored to your preferences and budget. Brands may include Dulux, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Benjamin Moore, and other trusted manufacturers where appropriate.
Do you advise on paint finishes?
Yes.
Your report will include recommendations for appropriate finishes for walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces to help achieve the desired look and ensure colours perform well in your space.
Will the colours look exactly the same in my home as they do in the report?
While I carefully consider room orientation, natural light, undertones, and existing finishes, colours can appear differently depending on lighting conditions and surrounding materials.
For this reason, I always recommend testing paint samples in your space before making a final purchase.
Can you match a specific design style?
Yes.
Whether you love modern, traditional, Scandinavian, neutral, colourful, luxurious, or eclectic interiors, your questionnaire helps me understand your personal taste so the design feels authentic to you.
What if I don’t like the designs?
My goal is always to create designs that feel personal and aligned with your brief.
If something doesn’t quite feel right, one round of minor amendments to one colour direction is included within your 7-day support period, provided the feedback relates to the original brief submitted.
Do I receive support after delivery?
Yes.
The Colour Direction includes 7 days & The Signature Colour includes 10 days of email support from the date your design package is delivered.
During this period, you can ask questions and seek clarification as you begin implementing your scheme.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes.
- Cancel within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.
- Cancel after 24 hours but before submitting your questionnaire for a 50% refund.
- Once the questionnaire has been submitted and work has commenced on your bespoke design, refunds are no longer available.
As each design is created specifically for the individual client, refunds cannot be offered once work has begun.

From House To Home
Is this service for one room or my whole home?
This service is designed to help you create a cohesive vision for your entire home. During our three-hour consultation, we’ll focus on the rooms that need the most attention while also establishing a clear design direction that flows throughout the property. The aim is to give you a practical roadmap for the whole house without overwhelming you with unnecessary detail.
How does the process work?
When you book you will choose a date for my in home visit. Then within 12 hours you’ll receive a confirmation email containing a link to your Questionnaire.
At least 48 hours before our session, you’ll complete the questionnaire so I can understand your lifestyle, priorities, design preferences, and any challenges you’re facing. We’ll then spend up to three hours working through your home together, followed by the delivery of your personalised Home Blueprint within seven days.
How long does the questionnaire take to complete?
Most clients spend between 30 and 60 minutes completing the questionnaire. The more information you provide, the more tailored and effective your consultation will be.
Do I need to prepare my home before the consultation?
No. Please don’t worry about tidying or styling your home before I arrive. Seeing how you genuinely live in the space helps me provide practical recommendations that work for your lifestyle.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely. A key part of this service is helping you make the most of what you already own. We’ll explore furniture layouts, identify pieces worth keeping, and look at ways to refresh your home without replacing everything.
Do you provide furniture sourcing or shopping lists?
No. This service focuses on design direction, strategy, and planning rather than detailed sourcing or procurement. If you require additional support after the consultation, I can discuss a bespoke design package tailored to your needs.
Does this include technical drawings or renovation plans?
No. This service does not include architectural drawings, structural advice, renovation plans, or technical specifications. Any sketches provided are intended to illustrate design concepts and furniture layouts only.
Do you offer follow-up support?
Yes. Your package includes seven days of email support following the delivery of your Home Blueprint. This allows you to ask questions related to the recommendations discussed during your consultation as you begin implementing your plan.
What happens after I receive my Home Blueprint?
Your Home Blueprint is yours to keep and use as a guide. You can work through the recommendations at your own pace, whether you’re decorating one room at a time or tackling the entire house. If you’d like further assistance beyond the included support period, bespoke design services may be available.
Where do you travel?
I’m based in Bristol and include free travel within a 20-mile radius. This covers areas including Lydney, Dursley, Corsham, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Weston-super-Mare, Newport, and surrounding locations.
If you’re located outside this area, please contact me before booking so I can provide a bespoke travel quote.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes. I offer one complimentary reschedule provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.

What is the Space Clarity Service?
This service provides professional furniture layouts and space planning recommendations tailored to your home, lifestyle, and needs. Following an in-home consultation and measure-up, you’ll receive two bespoke floor plan concepts for each room included in your package, helping you visualise different ways to use your space before making furniture or design decisions.
How does the process work?
1) Purchase your chosen package.
2) Select your consultation date through the booking system.
3) Complete your design questionnaire.
4) Attend your in-home consultation and measure-up.
5) I create two layout concepts for each room.
6) Receive your digital floor plan package.
7) Enjoy 7 days of email support following delivery.
When will I receive the questionnaire?
Once you have purchased the service, you will receive an email from me within 12 hours. This email will contain the link to the questionnaire. Please check your junk folder.
When does the questionnaire need to be completed?
To allow adequate preparation time, your questionnaire must be completed at least 48 hours before your scheduled consultation appointment.
How long does the questionnaire take to complete?
Most clients spend between 10 – 20 minutes completing the questionnaire. The more detail you provide, the more tailored your layouts will be.
What happens during the in-home consultation?
During the consultation, I will:

Not at all. In fact, seeing how you naturally use your space helps me understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how your layouts can better support your daily life.

Why do you provide two layouts instead of one?
Most space planning services provide only one recommended layout.
I believe there is rarely only one successful way to use a room. By providing two carefully considered options, you can compare different approaches and choose the arrangement that best suits your lifestyle, priorities, and future plans.
Can you work with furniture I already own?
Absolutely. A key part of this service is helping you make the most of the furniture you already have.
If there are pieces you wish to keep, simply include them in your questionnaire and I’ll incorporate them into your layouts wherever possible.
What if I’m planning to buy new furniture?
That’s perfectly fine.
If you already have specific items in mind, please provide dimensions or product links within your questionnaire. I can then incorporate those pieces into your layouts to ensure they fit comfortably within the space.
What if I haven’t chosen any furniture yet?
No problem at all.
Where furniture has not yet been selected, I use industry-standard furniture sizes to demonstrate what will fit and function well within the room.
Can you help me choose furniture?
This service focuses specifically on furniture layouts and space planning.
If you would like assistance selecting furniture, colours, finishes, or décor, I offer separate interior design services which can be discussed following completion of your project.
Does this service include architectural or structural advice?
No.
Starting Today Interiors does not provide architectural, structural engineering, building regulations, or planning permission advice.
Any structural alterations should be discussed with a qualified architect, engineer, or contractor.
What counts as a room?
A room is any separate, defined space within your home, such as:
Living rooms
Bedrooms
Dining rooms
Home offices
Playrooms
Open-plan kitchen, dining, and living spaces are counted as one room provided there are no separating walls or partitions.
What is included in the Whole Property Package?
The Whole Property Blueprint Package covers up to 8 rooms within the same property.
If your property contains more than 8 rooms, additional rooms can be added for an extra fee. Please get in touch for a bespoke quotation.
How long will it take to receive my floor plans?
Following your in-home consultation:
1 Room Package: 7 working days
2 Room Package: 10 working days
3 Room Package: 14 working days
Whole Property Package: 21 working days

This gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the layouts and recommendations provided.
What is your cancellation policy?
Within 24 hours of booking: Full refund
After 24 hours but before questionnaire submission: 50% refund
After questionnaire submission: No refunds available
This is because preparation and project work begin once your questionnaire has been submitted.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes.
One complimentary reschedule is included, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.
Any additional appointment changes are subject to a £50 administration fee.
Missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, and a £50 rebooking fee applies if a new appointment is required.
Can I use the floor plans for renovations?
The layouts can be used as a guide when planning renovations; however, they are not architectural or construction drawings and should not be relied upon for structural work.
Will my project be shared online?
Only with your permission.
During the questionnaire process, you’ll have the option to grant or decline consent for Starting Today Interiors to use your floor plans, photographs, testimonials, or project story in marketing materials, social media, or portfolio content.
